The Department admits 30 candidates for its two-year programme.Addmission shall be offered on the basis of entrance test followed by interview and group discussion.

Eligibility B.A(Hons) in Economics or B.A(Pass course) with Economics / BCom with 48 percent marks or Bachelor / Master degree in any discipline with 50 percent marks in aggregate.
Rules for MBE

(1).The Written test for M.B.E course will be of two and a half hours duration.Question paper will consist of 140 objective type questions and will be based on information on

(a)Indian Economy.

(b)Numerical ability.

(c)Business data interpretation.

(d)On basic knowledge of Economic concepts.

The written test will be followed by personality test(group discussions and interview) carrying 60 marks

(2)Final selection shall be made on the basis of perfomance of the candidates both in entrance test and personality test.

Note:-Candidates with MBE degree are eligible to appear in NET/SLET examination of M.A(Economics) as per information recieved from UGC/RPSC.
